Vision

Architecture is not just about space, but about the time spent within it. The Obsidian was designed as a sanctuary where the boundaries between the rugged canyon and modern luxury dissolve into a single experience.

NATURAL SYMPHONY

The Living
Atrium

At the heart of the residence lies a three-story glass atrium serving as a vertical garden. This space was designed to maximize natural light and airflow. Every element, from rare fern species to a water wall made of Icelandic granite, was carefully chosen to create a perfect microclimate that soothes the mind and purifies the air throughout the villa.

GASTRONOMIC MASTERY

The Culinary
Sanctuary

The kitchen at The Obsidian is more than just a place for preparing meals—it is an engineering masterpiece. It is outfitted with Gaggenau Series 400 appliances and single slabs of dark Nero Marquina marble. The wing also includes a professional catering prep area and a glass-enclosed tasting room connected to the wine cellar, where bottles are stored under optimal conditions monitored by an intelligent humidity sensor.

Silent
Architecture

The walls are acoustically tuned to eliminate echo, creating perfect silence for deep contemplation.

CELESTIAL BOUNDARY

The Obsidian
After Dark

As the sun sets beyond the canyon horizon, the residence transforms into a glowing jewel. The exterior lighting system, designed with a low light pollution index, highlights the textures of concrete and stone without disturbing the view of the starry sky. It is the time when the poolside terrace becomes the perfect setting for quiet contemplation or exclusive outdoor gatherings.

Raw
Nobility

We sourced Obsidian Black Granite from Iceland, Smoked Oak from the Black Forest, and Hand-Brushed Brass to create a palette that is as timeless as the earth itself.

UNPARALLELED HOSPITALITY

Private Guest
Quarters

A separate wing is dedicated to guests, offering the same level of luxury as the main residence while ensuring complete privacy. Three independent suites feature private terraces overlooking the valley, travertine bathrooms, and miniature bars stocked with local specialties. The goal was to create a space where guests feel like they are at a five-star resort while enjoying the hospitality of a private home.

The Legacy of Stone

THE OBSIDIAN is more than a house—it is a legacy embodied in concrete and steel. It was built to endure for centuries, standing as a monument to human ambition and aesthetic sensibility. Every detail has been carefully considered with sustainability and harmony with the surrounding landscape in mind, ensuring that this architectural masterpiece will remain relevant and captivating for future generations of architecture enthusiasts.
